IF TRIALS CAN BE SO BENEFICIAL, WHY DON'T WE LOOK FORWARD TO THEM?
I think it's because growing is hard! Discipline is hard too. I know most of the major trials in my life have come as the result of sin in my life. I've found that as I've dealt with the sin, the trials have gotten easier. God does honor obediece. God cannot bless us when we are walking in violation of His word and will.
Titus 2:9-10... "Exhort bondservants (tell employees, students, teammembers, athletes, etc) to be obedient to their own masters (employers, bosses, coaches, teachers, etc), to be well pleasing in all things, not answering back, not pilfering (stealing small things of value), but showing all good fidelity (loyalty, reliability), that they may adorn (give credit to) the doctrine of God our Savior in all things."

Trials take us out of our comfort zone. I think there is inherent danger of being in a comfort zone in the first place.
Excellent point Shane. See you Sunday. Rick

I think there is a play on words. God gives us trials to see if we can get back on the trail! Rick
